Accessibility statement

Our goal

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. We're a small team and the site changes often, so we check new pages as we build them and fix problems as soon as we hear about them.

What we do

• •Every image has a text description, and every button and link, including play, pause and other icon buttons, has a name a screen reader can read out.
• •The whole site works with a keyboard, with a visible outline showing where you are.
• •Text and buttons are designed to stand out clearly from the site's dark background.
• •Pages use proper headings and landmarks, so you can jump between sections.
• •If your device is set to reduce motion, the site turns off its animations.
• •Sound previews never play by themselves on page load; you start every one.
• •Pages adjust to any screen size and can be zoomed to 200% without losing anything.

Known limits

• •Sounds are audio by nature. We describe each one in words (name, category, length and a description), but the sound itself can only be heard.
• •Waveform pictures are decorative; the same information (length, play position) is also given as text and in the player controls.
• •Pack trailers are music and sound effects with no speech, so they have no captions.
• •Payment happens on Stripe's own checkout page, and Google sign-in on Google's own pages; their accessibility is up to them.
